The Jetter Gain Stage Red is a hand-wired overdrive pedal made in the USA. The Gain Stage Red provides a very convincing boost to tube amps; the mids are strong and sing with a lovely vocal quality, and the amp's full, lush response remains intact rather than being compressed. Most impressive is the gain capability the Stage Red offers—delivering a bright, sharp top end without sounding harsh or spiky, while remaining full and rich. The Hard/Soft switch is subtle but useful: the Hard setting increases gain response and presence, while the Soft setting gently tames the upper high-end frequencies and slightly pulls back on the pedal's overall gain structure. It operates at 9 volts. Used pedal in excellent condition.
