Juicy rock riffs and hot lead tones with authentic tube dynamics are the Fender MTG:LA Tube Distortion's specialty. Designed in collaboration with amp guru Bruce Egnater—and like the MTG Distortion, based on an analog circuit featuring a US-made NOS 6205 preamp tube—this pedal delivers classic 80s Los Angeles rock tones with a distinctive "Appetite" character. A gain control and a 2-band EQ (bass and treble) allow for sound shaping, while the "Tight" control cleans up the low end at higher gain settings. Additionally, the Fender MTG:LA features a built-in boost section, allowing you to drive the distortion circuit harder for endless sustain.
